Today was the successful launch of our new CAD Academy. After an overwhelming demand of over 80 applications and interviews, Creagh have selected 14 suitable candidates for the Computer Aided Design 12 week course.

The Academy consists of an eight week intensive training course at Creagh’s Head Office, Toomebridge, delivered by Belfast Metropolitan College, followed by a four week placement within the company’s design office.

Successful Academy Graduates will receive an OCNNI Level 4 certificate in 2D Computer Aided Design and will be offered employment within the Technical & Design Department. This course has been developed specifically for the design of Creagh’s pre-stressed concrete flooring and stairs.

The Creagh HR Director, Lorna McMullan stated that "We were overwhelmed with the level of interest in this programme and are delighted to be in a position to finally launch the course. We are very hopeful that this will significantly reduce the skill shortage within Creagh and see this as the first of many academies within the company. We are committed to making this a success for all involved and would like to take this opportunity to wish our 14 successful candidates every success with the course."
