Workshop Joiners

Location: Toomebridge

We are seeking to recruit additional highly skilled and motivated workshop joiners within our factories at Toomebridge, who will be involved in the daily manufacturing of complex timber moulds for high quality architectural and structural precast products.    

As a member of the joinery team, the successful candidates will come from a finishing/workshop joinery background.  Applicants must have experience of reading technical drawings, fabricating moulds from drawings and working to strict dimensional and quality specifications. 





Concrete Finishers - Wet Concrete

Location: Toomebridge

We are seeking to recruit additional experienced wet concrete finishers to join our evening/twilight concrete team within our factories at Toomebridge.

As a member of the concrete team, the successful candidates will come from a finishing concrete background with good experience of working with wet concrete. This role will include both hand troweling and power floated finishes.  Concrete finisher duties will also include operating concrete premix lorry to collect concrete from the batching plant, placing concrete via skip, placing of wet concrete in the designated moulds and washing trucks and skips as required.

Applicants must have a good knowledge of shuttering and concrete casting/finishing.  Experience working with Architectural and special concretes would be a distinct advantage.  Core working hours are based on a 10 hour shift and typical working day will be from 1pm to 11pm.





Crane Operative, Twilight Shift

We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual who will be solely responsible for the operation of both a gantry crane and crawler crane.

Criteria

  • Able to operate a crane unsupervised

Production Operator / Brick Pointer

Criteria

  • Previous experience within a production process preferably within the building/construction industry.
  • Ability to work as a strong team player and demonstrate a knowledge of output and quality standards.
  • Previous experience making dry cast products is preferable.




CAD Technician

We are seeking to further develop and grow our technical and design teams within the company.  The role will involve working on a variety of building and precast projects within the Residential Drawing Office.  The successful candidates will be responsible for the detailing of construction and factory production drawings for a range of concrete products. 

Criteria

  • HND/HNC qualification in a related discipline.
  • Good background knowledge of construction and/or manufacturing processes.
  • Fully competent in Autocad design packages
  • Design orientated background essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Can work to tight deadlines.




Production Planner

Responsible for the ownership and development of a production schedule within a busy steel fabrication environment. The successful planner will be looking at the systems, stock control and production plan to create a more efficient working environment and ensure all customer demands are met.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and manage the schedule for cutting, bending and fabrication of raw materials through the machines based on internal & external customer demands and machine efficiency by using the Steel Management Software. 
  • Manage raw material stock levels and order with suppliers as need be in conjunction with the procurement department. 
  • Troubleshoot problems that occur during production and agree corrective action with Production Supervisor if plan is not being achieved. 
  • Issue reports and analyse performance of production - daily KPI’s, Profit/Loss reports and work closely with Production Supervisor to review and identify areas where improvement is possible.

Structural Engineer

This senior technical role will have responsibility for the design and physical integrity of our large structural projects, providing technical expertise, solutions and guidance to our sales, design, manufacturing and site teams across the business. The successful candidates will work closely with our client and other engineering professionals on safe design and solution development.  

Criteria

  • Applicants must be educated to degree level in Civil/Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 2 years structural engineering experience within the construction industry.
  • A sound knowledge of Autocad is essential
  • Working knowledge of software such as Robot, Tedds and Revit would be a distinct advantage.
  • Applicants must be customer focused with strong communication skills.
  • Precast concrete design experience preferable but not essential.




Quantity Surveyor

Location: Toomebridge

As a member of a busy contracts team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the achievement of agreed service as well as the accurate preparation of costing and accounts, commercial management of projects including contract terms, negotiation, subcontractor procurement, payment applications, cash collection, agreement of variations and final accounts, budget monitoring and forecasting and reporting on profit and loss status.

Criteria

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying plus 2 years post graduate experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to successfully meet monthly debt targets
  • IT Literate, with previous Sage software experience
  • Must be a highly motivated individual

Commercial Manager

The Commercial Manager is required to ensure that all commercial aspects of our large precast concrete contracts are properly managed and controlled and that the commercial strategy is further developed and delivered throughout all contracting divisions in accordance with the requirements of the business.   

This senior role will include development and implementation of the commercial management processes and procedures, from inception to final account including involvement in estimating, the bid formation process, review of contract documentation, preparation of commercial risk assessments, control and monitoring of change in contracts as well as the management of claims and variation accounts, cash flow awareness along with accurate preparation of accounts in terms of cost/revenues and individual project financial statements. It will also involve the management of a team of Quantity Surveyors on a daily basis.  
 
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior commercial role and preferably within a sub-contract capacity to main contractors.   The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive contract and final account experience and have a proven track record of dispute resolution and commercial management of contracts.  A thorough knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts with design element clauses would be a distinct advantage.
