Joiners

As a member of the joinery team within a busy production facility, the successful candidates will be involved in the mould and shuttering process for the production of stairs and wall panels.

Criteria

  • Must be a skilled joiner with a minimum of two years joinery experience.
  • Shuttering experience would be an advantage.
  • Must have the ability to understand technical drawings and to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible to work overtime such as evenings and/or weekends to meet production requirements.




Concrete General Operator / Brick Pointer

Criteria

  • Previous experience within a production process preferably within the building/construction industry.
  • Ability to work as a strong team player and demonstrate a knowledge of output and quality standards.
  • Previous experience making dry cast products is preferable.




Quantity Surveyor

Location: Toomebridge

As a member of a busy contracts team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the achievement of agreed service as well as the accurate preparation of costing and accounts, commercial management of projects including contract terms, negotiation, subcontractor procurement, payment applications, cash collection, agreement of variations and final accounts, budget monitoring and forecasting and reporting on profit and loss status.

Criteria

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying plus 2 years post graduate experience in the construction industry
  • Ability to successfully meet monthly debt targets
  • IT Literate, with previous Sage software experience
  • Must be a highly motivated individual

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Toomebridge

Job Reference: SQS/1018

As a member of the contracts team, this role will involve the management of a team of Quantity Surveyors on a daily basis.  Applicants must have extensive contract and final account experience. The role will include the review of incoming contract documentation, preparation of commercial risk assessments, control and monitoring of change in contracts as well as the management of claims and variation accounts.  The successful candidate will be target driven, demonstrate an ability to resolve commercial issues and have a proven track record on final account agreements.  

Criteria

  • A minimum of 5 years QS experience in a sub-contract basis to main contractors
  • Must be educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying
  • Proven track record of dispute resolution and commercial management of contracts
  • Thorough knowledge of contracts with design element clauses
  • Experience of the precast industry is desirable, as is an understanding of technical and construction techniques in superstructures.




Precast Quality Checker

Location: Toomebridge

Job Reference: PQC/1018

Reporting to the Quality Manager the successful candidate will be part of a team focused on achieving quality targets within a busy precast concrete factory.   Key tasks of the position will include carrying out a thorough checking process on precast concrete units to ensure they are manufactured as per drawings, highlighting non-conformances & implementing corrective/remedial action as required.  


Criteria

  • Have the ability to read and understand technical/reinforcement drawings
  • Previous experience in a quality role within a precast factory would be a distinct advantage
  • Have a very thorough and pro-active attitude
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Competent in Microsoft IT packages




Site Supervisor

Location: Toomebridge

We are seeking to appoint capable individuals who will manage multiple precast flooring contracts throughout GB.  The core responsibilities of the role involves carrying out regular site visits for the submission of accurate risk assessments and method statements prior to delivery on site, agreeing site programmes, communicating daily with design, production & dispatch to ensure safe, successful delivery and profitable return on each contract.  The successful candidate will proactively manage site costs and performance against budget and have overall responsibility for leading the installation teams to meet daily programmes and H&S standards.  

This role will require the successful candidate to be flexible to travel to England approximately two days per week, however based at our head office in Toome thereafter.

  • A minimum of 2 years foreman/site supervision experience within the construction industry
  • Installation knowledge of precast flooring and stairs would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience of writing accurate risk assessments and method statements
  • Be commercially aware with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Valid Appointed Person and SMSTS/SSSTS qualification would be advantageous

Structural Engineer

This senior technical role will have responsibility for the design and physical integrity of our large structural projects, providing technical expertise, solutions and guidance to our sales, design, manufacturing and site teams across the business. The successful candidates will work closely with our client and other engineering professionals on safe design and solution development.  

Criteria

  • Applicants must be educated to degree level in Civil/Structural Engineering and have a minimum of 2 years structural engineering experience within the construction industry.
  • A sound knowledge of Autocad is essential
  • Working knowledge of software such as Robot, Tedds and Revit would be a distinct advantage.
  • Applicants must be customer focused with strong communication skills.
  • Precast concrete design experience preferable but not essential.




CAD/Revit Technicians

This role will involve working at design stage on a variety of prestigious and challenging building projects. The successful candidates will be part of a highly skilled team who will be responsible for developing general arrangement and manufacturing drawings for a wide range of structures and structural elements of our large flooring and precast concrete contracts.  

Criteria

  • Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years detailing experience within the construction industry and be fully competent in Revit.
  • Detailing experience in precast/reinforced concrete/structural steel would be desirable.
  • Applicants must have a knowledge of modern building techniques, structural details and materials.
