IT System Improvement Analyst

Location: Toomebridge

The successful candidate will work in a small, dynamic team, reporting directly to the Senior IT Manager. In this role you will be responsible for helping to drive improvement by evaluating and developing efficient and effective processes and systems. 

The Person

Has a 3rd level qualification, preferably within finance or IT or with IT as a major component

Has 3 years post grad experience working in a commercial environment 

Criteria

  • Gain a deep understanding of SAGE 1000 within Creagh
  • Understand and advise on how other IT systems can and should interface with SAGE 1000
  • Understand and improve Business Systems from both a ‘hands on’ operations viewpoint and a basic technical stance
  • Foster and promote an environment of continuous improvement
  • Train and introduce best case practice
  • Support the IT systems, its users and oversee reporting requirements
  • Review, develop and amend system reports
  • Working with various stakeholders to improve efficiency and reporting of the current and improved systems




Sales Estimator

Location: Toomebridge

As a key member of the Structural Precast & Specialist Projects Team within Creagh, the successful candidate will focus on growing our structural precast order book throughout the UK.

 Key duties will include the preparation of estimates from drawings and bill of quantities, liaising with customers directly and ultimately winning sales/orders. This position will be based at Toomebridge and will be responsible for providing a friendly and professional service to customers and staff and requires high levels of organisation and attention to detail whilst ensuring customer expectations are met. 

Criteria

  • A minimum of 2 years commercial/estimating experience within the construction industry.
  • Experience with estimating precast, steelwork or insitu concrete works would be a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to read technical drawings such as Autocad and reinforcement schedules is essential.
  • Ability to demonstrate a commercial understanding of structural engineering and precast design.
  • A persistent and determined individual who is highly motivated, and target driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Project.




Joiners

Location: Toome

As a member of the joinery team within a busy production facility, the successful candidates will be involved in the mould and shuttering process for the production of stairs and wall panels.

Criteria

  • Must be a skilled joiner with a minimum of two years joinery experience.
  • Shuttering experience would be an advantage.
  • Must have the ability to understand technical drawings and to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible to work overtime such as evenings and/or weekends to meet production requirements.




Health, Safety and Environmental Officer

Location: Toomebridge

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and processes within our manufacturing facilities and local construction activities.  Reporting to the Health & Safety Director key responsibilities will include;

Carrying out factory and site inspections to ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and    internal management systems
Chairing health and safety meetings.
Updating and reviewing method statements, risk assessments and safe systems of work
Compiling training matrix and training needs analysis
Carryout accident investigations and be instrumental in driving near miss reporting
Supporting managers to carryout toolbox talks and safety briefings
Complete pre-tender qualification questionnaires  

Criteria

  • A minimum of 2-3 years Health, Safety & Environmental experience within the construction industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of H&S and Environmental legislation applicable to the construction industry and manufacturing environment.
  • NEBOSH diploma or equivalent is essential.
  • Environmental qualification is preferable.
  • Graduate IOSH membership.
  • Internal Auditor training for Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 18001).
  • Strong communication skills and IT literate on Microsoft office packages.




Facilities Officer

Location: Toomebridge

We are seeking to appoint a Facilities Officer based at Toomebridge, who will be responsible for the daily cleaning and housekeeping of communal toilets throughout our production areas.  This role will include ensuring the facilities are maintained to a high standard and comply with health and safety requirements as well as daily cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping.  Hours of work are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. 

Applicants must have good industrial cleaning experience, have the ability to work on their own initiative and demonstrate good organisational skills.  






Production Operatives

Criteria

  • Previous experience within a production process preferably within the building/construction industry.
  • Ability to work as a strong team player and demonstrate a knowledge of output and quality standards.
  • Previous experience making dry cast products is preferable.




Store Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Store Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily activities within the store. 

Responsibilities will include: –

  • Control of goods inwards, outwards and equipment returns.
  • Maintain stock control systems accurately and input new stock.
  • Place orders in a timely manner to avoid disruption to production. 
  • Ensure cost effective purchasing and stock control. 
  • Assist with the unloading of deliveries and goods inwards inspections.
  • Actively participate and contribute in managing “surplus” materials.
  • Assist in coordinating activities between Purchasing and Production. 
  • Ensure cost effective purchasing and stock control.
  • Problem solving and decision making.
  • Work effectively as part of a team. 

Criteria

  • Minimum of 1 year’s stores/purchasing experience.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Forklift experience and valid licence would be advantageous.
  • Must be a self-starter.




Steel Fixer

Location: Toomebridge

The successful candidates will be working as part of a team who will be responsible for positioning and securing steel bars or steel mesh to reinforce concrete structures.  This will involve reading and interpreting working plans then adapting and assembling the steel bars/mesh by wiring or clipping into predetermined locations within the concrete.

Criteria

  • Must be a skilled steel fixer with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience within a precast concrete or construction environment.
  • Have the ability to understand technical drawings.
  • Strong organisational and communications skills are also important.
